who's smarter?

Time had an article with the headline of "babies vs. chimps: who's smarter?" It sounded like the making of a horrible reality tv show. Actually, if it was chimps vs Nascar watching hick living Americans, my money would be on the chimps. Instead, there was a study that tested 2 and a half year olds and chimps with a round of tests. The chimps held their own until social learning tests when the babies put them in their place. I guess it is comforting knowing that chimps aren't anywhere close to taking over and ruling the world.
