15 minutes of fame

This past week, we had the kick off for Health-e People, a health literacy pilot program. I made it onto the news reel explaining something to a patient. My 15 minutes of fame should be about up.

It was so cool to see you on TV. You looked very knowledgeable and professional, just the image we need to portray.

Thanks for the compliments. I joked, that I was glad they didn't have sound attached to the video. In all seriousness, I am glad I was able to represent librarianship and show that there is more to us than shhhing people and wearing buns in our hair.
