new clock needed

i need a clock that indicates am or pm in a large obvious sort of way, so i won't ever wake up from a nap in a panic that i am late for work.

demolishing is oh so fun

I went to a friend's house and demolished a chimney. Me, brick and a sledgehammer. Oh and I crawled through some dirt tunnels. Total funness.

more snow

sigh. La Crosse is under a winter storm warning/watch whatever. It doesn't matter, we have the potential for 6-8 more inches of mother f'in snow on Friday.

birthday week

I love birthday week. Christy needs to run for president on her birthday week platform. For once, I am doing a bunch of things for my birthday, so it has turned into a week of birthday funness. Birthday week began with two birthday cards in the mail on Friday. Saturday morning mail brought me a birthday present from my fairy godmother. Then it was a day in Rochester with Christy. We ate at Chipotle, walked around a nature center, saw a gentleman dressed up as the Statue of Liberty and had birthday pie.
The day continued with an invite to the Olive Garden for dinner, American Idol Karaoke and shots of Captain. I love birthdays!

sick with a cold

i am feeling very whiny because i am sick again. what is up with this. usually i get sick once or twice a winter. this year, i am sick once or twice a month. i hope next year my immune system will be used to the public.
